The allied races of the Zandalari trolls and the humans of Kul Tiras are coming with Patch 8.1 from World of Warcraft. The requirements are quite simple.
A few days ago, the Game Director of World of Warcraft, Ion Hazzikostas, revealed that with Patch 8.1, two new allied races will finally join World of Warcraft. After Zandalari trolls and Kul Tiran humans have been known for a long time, they are getting closer with Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance.
The requirements for the races: To be able to play Zandalari trolls and Kul Tiran humans in Patch 8.1, there are only a few requirements. You must:
- Have reached Level 120
- Be exalted with the Zandalari Empire (Horde) or the Proudmoore Admiralty (Alliance)
- Have completed the new steps of the war campaign
- The raid Siege of Zuldazar must be released
The two allied races will only come into play after the raid, during the continued story. However, how exactly that will look is still unknown.
Speculation about the story: There are already many speculations about how the Siege of Zuldazar will unfold. The most common theory is that King Rastakhan will be killed by the Alliance, and the Horde will arrive too late to prevent it. This would make Talanji the new queen, who already has a good relationship with the Horde. It would be the perfect time to officially join the Horde.
Similarly, the Alliance could celebrate a victory alongside the Kul Tiran, if they truly manage to kill Rastakhan. And at a victory celebration, new alliances can easily be formed.
However, there is still no release date for Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance. Currently, the patch is in an early form on the PTR.
Are you already looking forward to the Zandalari trolls and the Kul Tiran? Or do you have no desire to level a new character again with Patch 8.1?
