The YouTuber Rextroy takes down entire groups as a mage in the PvP mode of World of Warcraft. He achieves this with a Kyrian legendary and the assistance of a toad, which causes his opponents to fall one after another.
Rextroy is known for finding glitches and exploits in WoW. In the past, he managed to kill his opponents with a single shot as a hunter.
Now Rextroy wants to take on entire groups instead of just single players.
How does it work? First, the player uses the item “Harmonious Echo”, which is the Kyrian legendary for mages. This expands the Kyrian covenant ability to deal area damage. He then fires at an opposing player, but due to the item, 4 surrounding players take 25% of the damage.
For the damage to lead to kills, Rextroy uses a level 1 wild animal: the gently pressed toad. It takes increased damage from players at level 60, including Rextroy. The damage then transfers to the surrounding players, causing the 25% to be extremely high and the entire group to fall. “I dealt 3.2 million damage,” he says laughing in the video.

How exactly does the kill play out? Rextroy becomes invisible and places the toad on the ground. A priest from his faction takes control of it through mind control and casts “Ray of Hope”, making it invulnerable for 6 seconds.
Exactly at that moment, the YouTuber uses “Time Warp” and quickly casts Radiant Spark on the animal. He also lets “Arcane Missiles” fly afterwards. The first hit applies a debuff on the opponents, and each subsequent hit kills 4 surrounding players.
The YouTuber is not only known for finding exploits, he has also defeated raid bosses solo.
Aren’t exploits forbidden? Basically yes. Especially the dissemination of exploits is frowned upon by Blizzard. In Rextroy’s case, however, he is in contact with the developers and sends them a report about each bug or exploit. His videos are usually released only after the error in the game has been fixed and can no longer be reproduced. Therefore, most of Rextroy’s “oneshot” combos can no longer be replicated.
