A small hotfix in World of Warcraft has big consequences. No one has to go to Torghast anymore. You can now buy resources in a different way.
Torghast in World of Warcraft is one of the content types that splits the player base. Some love going through the Tower of the Damned repeatedly and slicing through hordes of enemies with cool anima powers. Others find it monotonous and consider every visit to be “one too many.”
It’s only really annoying when one has to go to Torghast, for example to collect enough Soul Ash and Soul Globs to craft a new Legendary. This was the case until now – but that’s over.
What happened? The Enlightened faction in Zereth Mortis has a new item on offer, namely the “Bag of Explored Souls” for 3,000 Cosmic Flux. The bag was added via hotfix and can now be purchased by all players who have at least a friendly reputation. Those who have played the covenant campaign up to this point should have reached this reputation level quite easily.
The bag contains 1,650 Soul Globs and 5,150 Soul Ash. That’s enough to fully upgrade a Legendary to rank 7 or to craft a new one at rank 7.
Since you can also get Cosmic Flux from many other activities – such as raids, dungeons, treasures, and quests in Zereth Mortis – you never have to visit Torghast again if you don’t want to.
Why is this important now? For a few days now, the last chapter of the covenant campaign is available in World of Warcraft, which also unlocks the double Legendary feature. However, to fully utilize this feature, it’s necessary for every character to possess enough Soul Ash and Soul Globs – which could potentially mean visits to Torghast again. This necessity is now eliminated for everyone who is fed up with Torghast.
Some players report that the bag is not yet available on their realm – just be patient for a few hours if you can’t find it for sale yet. You should see and be able to buy the bag at the latest with the next realm restart.
