Today, on the night of Thursday, October 6th, the first 3 raids of Wrath of the Lich King open in WoW Classic. MeinMMO tells you where to find the entrances, what to expect in the raids, and what loot you can get there.
Which raids are opening today? In the first phase of Wrath of the Lich King, you have access to 3 raids:

All three raids are intended for players at level 80 and are divided into a mode for 10 and 25 players. Compared to before, there is one change in WotLK Classic: the heroic and normal versions share a “lockout”, but the modes for 10 and 25 players do not. Heroic raids will be available later.

When can I enter the raids? From midnight German time on the night of October 6th to 7th, all three raids will open their doors. You can enter Naxxramas and the Obsidian Sanctum immediately. For the Eye of Eternity, you must first retrieve the key from Naxxramas.
There are no other requirements for the raids, but you should have received some gear from the dungeons, ideally wearing at least one or two epics. On MeinMMO, you can find all dungeons of Wrath of the Lich King and their entrances if you still want to grind.

Important information about Naxxramas
Where is Naxxramas? The entrance to the raid is located in the Dragonblight, a bit east of Wintergarde Keep. You must have learned to fly in Northrend or be teleported to enter the instance.
How many bosses are in Naxxramas? There are 15 bosses spread across 5 wings.
What is the most important loot from the raid? In Naxxramas, you will receive four different pieces of the Tier-7 set for your class:
- Shoulders (Loatheb and Gluth)
- Legs (Thaddius and Gluth)
- Chest (Four Horsemen and Gluth)
- Head (Kel’thuzad)
Additionally, you will obtain the key to the Eye of Eternity from Sapphiron, the second-to-last boss in Naxxramas. You need this to gain access to the raid of the same name. Depending on which mode you are currently playing, you will receive the normal or heroic key.
The 15 bosses are spread across 5 wings of Naxxramas. The order of the first 4 wings is arbitrary, but you must complete them all to advance to the top. A complete run can indeed take some time.
Important information about the Obsidian Sanctum
Where is the Obsidian Sanctum? You can find the access in the Dragonblight on the lowest level of the Wyrmrest Temple.
How many bosses are in the Obsidian Sanctum? There are four bosses, three of which are optional. If you do not defeat the optional bosses, the final boss will become stronger.
What is the most important loot from the raid? Sartharion, the final boss, drops the Tier-7 hands. You can also obtain a bag with 22 slots, as well as the reins of the black dragon and the reins of the twilight dragon here if you are lucky.
However, you can only get the mounts if all three optional dragons are alive when the fight with Sartharion begins.
Important information about the Eye of Eternity
Where is the Eye of Eternity? You can reach the Eye of Eternity through the Nexus in Coldarra in the northwest of the Borean Tundra. The entrance is on the top platform of the complex.
How many bosses are in the Eye of Eternity? There is only one boss to fight in the Eye of Eternity: Malygos.
What is the most important loot from the raid? Malygos drops, among other things, some particularly strong weapons (10-player) and trinkets (25-player), and has a chance to drop the reins of the blue dragon and the azure dragon.
In the Eye of Eternity, you roughly fight half of the battle on a dragon with special abilities. That alone makes the raid a highlight, aside from the powerful items that Malygos can drop.
You will need better gear for the first 3 raids than for the dungeons, but the requirements are not too high either. So before you don’t set out at all, try your luck with a “suboptimal” group, players advise:
