The race for the last kill in the current raid of World of Warcraft is on. The guilds Limit and Method are keeping it exciting!
For nearly two days, the mythic difficulty of the Battle of Dazar’alor has been accessible. In the current raid of World of Warcraft, the “usual suspects” have risen to the top and are currently competing for the “World First Kill” of the last boss, Lady Jaina Proudmoore: the European guild Method and the US guild Limit.
Method is transparent but somewhat slower: The European guild Method is streaming the entire progression of the World First race across multiple streams, providing a lot of transparency. The 7th and 8th bosses, namely Mekkadrill and the Stormwall Blockade, caused Method to hit a snag after a good run. These two bosses took longer than for their US counterparts at Limit, who progressed a bit more swiftly. Now Method is neck and neck and is working hard to defeat Lady Jaina Proudmoore in mythic mode.
Limit operates in the dark: Unlike many other guilds, Limit has decided not to stream the progression race. It is suspected that they do not want to squander the advantage that the guild has from starting earlier in the USA. How far Limit actually is can only be estimated. However, Limit has now been working on Jaina for nearly 19 hours, giving them significantly more experience in the fight than Method.

Who else is participating? Only slightly behind is the guild Exorsus, which had also been given chances of success. They are currently ranked 3rd and 4th along with the guild Pieces, working on the Stormwall Blockade (8th boss).
As we approach the end, the race for the first kill of Jaina is getting really exciting, after it didn’t seem that way at the beginning. As soon as one of the two guilds – or maybe a third underdog – snags the first kill, we will report on it.
Are you following the race for the first kill on Method’s stream? Or do you hope that Limit finally tweets the message that they have achieved victory? Or are you completely indifferent to the race (as cold as Jaina is to her attackers)?
