Do you enjoy collecting mounts in World of Warcraft? Then this website recommendation will be your most loyal companion that you won’t want to miss.
While many players in World of Warcraft mostly find enjoyment in raids, dungeons, or PvP, there is also a large number of collecting enthusiasts who primarily gather mounts, pets, or toys.
However, with over 8 expansions, there are now so many mounts, pets, and toys that even veterans are slowly losing track. Fortunately, there is a website that can help you out and make collectors’ hearts race: Simple Armory (link to the website).
What kind of website is this? Simple Armory is, as the name suggests, a significantly simplified view of Blizzard’s official Armory. Here you select your character and then get a handy overview of which collectible items – like mounts – you already own and which ones you still lack. The mounts are categorized into different groups, such as the various expansions or individual addon features like raids or Torghast. This way, you can see at a glance which mounts or pets you already have and which ones are still missing from your collection.
Where do the data come from? To get your data and read it, Simple Armory does not require you to provide Battle.net login details or anything similar. The site simply accesses Blizzard’s official Armory, where almost all characters are stored anyway.
While there is the option to manually add more data, such as to import the list of missing toys – because the Armory from Blizzard cannot do this yet, and thus Simple Armory cannot access it either. To do this, you would need to use the interface addon “Simple Armory”.
What else can the website do? One of the best features of the website is that it greatly simplifies your search for mounts. You can simply tick “Show Planner” at the top of the respective page, and you will be shown a new page. Here, it lists step by step which actions you should take in what order to farm as many missing mounts with maximum efficiency. The list even specifies which portals and routes you should use or where you need to bind your hearthstone to save as much time as possible.
Just enter your character on the site and see which animals are still missing and what you should start with.
What do you think about this website? A cool tool that can structure a collector’s day in WoW significantly?
