Hunters can look forward to the next patch of World of Warcraft. They will finally be able to see Hati again.
Those who played a Beast Mastery Hunter in World of Warcraft: Legion surely remember Hati fondly. The companion was part of the artifact weapon and accompanied hunters across the Broken Isles. With the upcoming patch 8.1.5, there will be a reunion with the old companion.
Hati’s departure caused much sorrow: When patch 8.0 hit, Hati disappeared overnight. The artifact weapons had lost all their power, and Hati was gone, just like many features of the weapons.
But for many hunters, Hati was more than just a bunch of pixels; he was a reliable companion. There was so much fan art of Hati on social media that even the developers of WoW were touched and made a promise: You would see Hati again; it just takes a little while.
With patch 8.1.5, Hati will be reshaped: Data miners are busy dissecting patch 8.1.5. It has now been revealed that Hati will get his own little scenario where players can meet the companion again. Mimiron (a boss from Ulduar) is calling players to Ulduar and intends to “reshape” Hati. Players will need to assist him in this task.
How exactly the scenario will unfold and whether the recreation of Hati will go smoothly, we will likely find out in the coming weeks – but definitely with the release of patch 8.1.5 when hunters can take on this quest.
