An ettin is becoming rare – the world quest “An Ettin’s Foot in the Door” is causing great question marks among WoW players.
Aside from the world boss Ana-Mouz and Humongris, today, on 01/18/2017, a third world quest has also appeared in World of Warcraft . The mission named “The Night Hold: An Ettin’s Foot in the Door” is also marked as “purple” and suggests that the corresponding opponent must be defeated by a full raid group.
While hundreds of players are desperately running through Suramar looking for Torm the Crusher (also known as: Tower of the Crusher), half of the players are already shouting “Bug!” and “I can’t find the mob!” in the general chat.
The solution to the riddle is simple: Torm the Crusher is not really wandering around in Suramar, but can be found in the new raid “The Night Hold” – as the name of the quest actually implies.
The marker on the world map does not indicate where Torm is located, but simply shows the entrance to the Night Hold.
Torm the Crusher can be encountered relatively early in the instance, you can defeat the ettin right after the first boss Skorpyron. The boss itself is not very tough and should pose no obstacle for a complete raid group.
Those who want to complete the quest and secure the 175,000 artifact power (with Artifact Knowledge 25) must either join an existing raid group or start one themselves. Whether the mission is completed in normal or heroic mode does not matter – defeating the first boss with a bunch of “randoms” could already cause serious problems.
So far, “The Night Hold” is not yet available in the raid finder, the wings will open in the coming weeks. So when this world quest appears next time, you can probably complete it relaxed in LFR. Until then, manually searching for a suitable group is mandatory.
