Players of World of Warcraft are eagerly awaiting Patch 9.2. But when will the update be released? Let’s take a look at what information is already available.
The next chapter of the World of Warcraft saga has been announced. Patch 9.2 “Eternity’s End” was presented in a developer video. While many exact details are still missing, there is quite a bit of information about the upcoming content.
However, one question is burning in the hearts of players, as content drought has been ongoing for a while in the Shadowlands: When will Patch 9.2 be released?
What is the official date? There is no official release date for Patch 9.2 “Eternity’s End” yet. At this point in time, Blizzard has not commented on when the update will go live.
How can one test the patch already? This will be possible once the PTR for the patch has started. You can then easily install and test the update from the Battle.net launcher and give your feedback to the developers. Once the PTR is live, we will keep track of that here.
What is a realistic date? If we speculate a little and consider the other patches released for World of Warcraft, the duration on the PTR is likely to be about 3 months. However, since Patch 9.2 will be the final patch of Shadowlands, it could very well be that the development time is a bit longer.
If we estimate a release within 3 to 4 months, then the patch is likely to be released no earlier than February 16, 2022, and no later than March 16, 2022.
As soon as there are more details available and it’s more accurately assessable when the patch will be released, we will update this article with the latest information, especially when Blizzard announces a specific date for the long-awaited patch.
