Anduin and Sylvanas are not popular among all WoW fans. This led to artworks being revised – in an absurd way.
The humor on Reddit is sometimes something quite special. Occasionally it is just a bit bizarre, sometimes hard to understand, but now and then beautiful chain reactions occur. This was the case in recent weeks after the announcement of the release date for World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth.
In line with the revelation of the release date, there was also a new artwork depicting Anduin Wrynn and Sylvanas Windrunner with angry expressions on a battlefield.
If WoW fans don’t like an artwork
The Redditor Rainwyrd announced that he was not a big fan of Sylvanas and therefore edited the image to include more Anduin:
The user Deventh could not let that stand. He, on the other hand, was not a big fan of Anduin, so he added more Sylvanas.
From then on, things got a bit out of control.
The user Vcorbi stated that he was not a big fan of Sylvanas or Anduin and therefore just wanted “more less of both” in the picture.
DrSandwich2 then explained that he was not a big fan of Sylvanas and Anduin, so he simply added more Ion – the face of Game Director Ion Hazzikostas.
Naturage on the other hand, argued that “he wasn’t a big fan of Anduin either, so he added more fans (ventilators)” – bonus points here for the image editing skill.
Finally, DiscreteChi stepped in and noted that he is generally not a big fan of wars, which is why he edited the image to have less war – it remains a landscape with a rising sun without any characters.
Sometimes it’s just nice to see how jokes on Reddit spin endlessly and take on quite absurd turns. You don’t always have to understand everything. Sometimes the ways of the internet are simply unfathomable.
