The World of Warcraft Patch 7.3 has changed more than what was mentioned in the patch notes. We have some new features that Blizzard has kept quiet about.
Although the official patch notes for Patch 7.3 Shadows of Argus, the latest update for World of Warcraft, were quite lengthy, not all details made it into the list. As with almost every major patch, there are numerous changes that were not discussed by the developers. Either because they are insignificant, to avoid exploiting a previous exploit, or simply because they were forgotten.
Please note that this list is logically not exhaustive.
- The drop chance for the hidden artifact weapon skins has been drastically increased.
- Those who want to replay the campaign at the Broken Shore can now do so much faster. The individual quest steps have been simplified and the necessary mission objectives reduced by between 33% and 50%. Now you only need to defeat the Sentinax 50 times or
- Immerseus in The Siege of Orgrimmar can now be defeated much more easily solo. Purifying and destroying the various drops deals significantly more damage to him.
- The loot from timewalking dungeons now starts at item level 880. In the Black Temple, loot with item level 930 even drops!
- Nethershard can now be exchanged with War Mage Kath’leen (Broken Shore) for new items that grant followers experience points or directly equipment of item level 880.
- The old epic armor tokens are no longer available for Nethershard.
- The priest spell Levitate now allows players to jump while levitating.
- The Infernal Beasts of the warlocks are significantly more fiery than before.
- Many toys in the collection that previously had a reputation requirement for use can now also be used by twinks who do not have the corresponding reputation (such as the Soul Salvation Crystal).
- The face tentacles of the Draenei (beards) now clip into their bodies and no longer rest on their shoulders. Literally unplayable.
