The planet Argus from World of Warcraft 7.3 is not liked by all players – at least statistics paint a bleak picture.
For about 40 days, Patch 7.3 has been active in World of Warcraft and has brought the new world Argus. The home world of the Draenei is quite lively, as the Legion has its greatest seat of power there. But can this really excite all players?
The colleagues from mmo-champion analyzed the data of 1.8 million players who were active last month and came to interesting results.
According to them, far from all players seem to be really interested in Argus in the long term. This can at least be inferred from the density of the achievements earned.
No one wants to kill demons
While around 81% have at least killed 100 demons on Argus (which roughly corresponds to the first set of quests), the curve drops off significantly thereafter. Only half of the players have eliminated more than 500 demons, and nearly 12% defeated 2,000 demons. A proud 5,000 demons on Argus were only defeated by 1.4% of the players, and this despite the cool title “the demon slayer” that is awarded for it.

Just under half of all players have defeated at least 25 different rare enemies on Argus. The achievement for all rare enemies, which is even rewarded with a large amount of weapon appearances, has been achieved by only 4% of the players so far.
Additionally, the Netherlight Crucible doesn’t seem to weigh heavily for all players yet. So far, only nearly 60% have unlocked the Netherlight Crucible, which allows for further enhancements to artifact weapons. The same percentage of players has also only completed the story missions on Argus.

Why Argus is not so popular among many players is difficult to determine definitively. Many players are slowly fed up with the “fel-green demon setting” and lose interest in the first zone of Argus as a result. Others have already concluded with the PvE in Legion and prefer to focus on other areas of play that bring them more enjoyment – such as PvP or role-playing.
Are you among the active players who have skipped a lot on Argus? Can’t the new planet captivate you? Or do you not understand how anyone could have skipped the Netherlight Crucible so far?
