In World of Warcraft, there are many different contents, but one wish unites almost all players: The ability to continuously customize their character and give him or her a unique look. Therefore, WoW has been introducing more and more customization options in recent years.
This was discovered: The data miners from wowhead are actively analyzing patch 10.0.5 and are finding new interesting content almost daily. A small detail has now caught attention because it shows armor that has not existed in World of Warcraft before – or at least no items of this kind have been added to the game since CCvanillaC.
We are talking about one of the biggest “game cliches” that exist in fantasy games: chain bikinis.
The bikinis come in 4 different colors: dark green, brown, black-red, and red-black (inverse colors).
How do you get the chain bikinis? It is still not entirely clear how to obtain these new chain bikinis. However, the most likely scenario seems to be that the chain bikinis will land in the trading post. This is a new feature that Blizzard has announced for patch 10.0.5. Players receive a special currency here monthly, which they can use to purchase new cosmetic rewards – among them mounts, toys, and also transmog items. A bikini like this could definitely be conceivable.
Why didn’t WoW want bikinis anymore? At the time of CCCataclysmC, there was a significant discussion about the portrayal of women in World of Warcraft. At BlizzCon, Chris Metzen stated that he had watched the end video of Cataclysm with his daughter, who asked him: “Why are all the women wearing swimsuits?” He had no answer at the time.
