For many fans of World of Warcraft Classic, the highlight of BlizzCon was the announcement of Burning Crusade Classic (TBC Classic). Diving back into the shattered realm and battling renowned bosses like Illidan, Vashj, or Kael’thas is a great attraction for many players. But it wasn’t just the work on Burning Crusade that was announced; a registration for the beta test is also possible. We will tell you how it works.
Beta Registration for Burning Crusade Classic
To sign up for the beta of Burning Crusade Classic, you just need to visit the official website for the game. You can do this through this link to the WoW Classic page.
- Make sure you are logged in on the page with your Battle.net account.
- Scroll down to the section “Become a beta tester”.
- Click on the large button “Sign up” and wait a few seconds.
That’s it. You are registered for the beta of Burning Crusade and, with a bit of luck, you will be among the first to venture into the “new” expansion of WoW.
When does the beta start? There is not yet a specific date for it. However, Blizzard intends to release “Burning Crusade Classic” sometime in 2021. Therefore, it is assumed that a beta will take place in late spring or summer. So you still have some time to sign up for the beta or just enjoy the current content of Classic.
Classic demands decisions: With the launch of Burning Crusade, the players of WoW Classic will have to make some difficult decisions. For example, they will have to decide whether to remain in the Classic era forever or to move characters into the new content. There will also be the option to buy a character boost or even a character copy for money. This is currently being discussed actively.
