The racial abilities of the allied races from WoW: Battle for Azeroth have been revealed. We tell you what the new races can do!
In the upcoming expansion of World of Warcraft, there is plenty to do for fans of multiple characters. In Battle for Azeroth, the character limit per server is increased by 6 slots – just right for the 6 new races joining the Horde and Alliance. Since the allied races are not just “subraces,” but completely independent species, they all receive their own racial abilities, known as “racials.”
Many of these abilities have already been found in the game files on the PTR of Patch 7.3.5, and we present them to you.
The specified values for the damage and healing of the racial abilities scale with the level of the characters – they are not set in stone.We have more information about the Allied Races in this post for you!
Racial abilities of the Lightforged Draenei
- Light’s Judgement – Summons a strike of Holy energy that deals 5,150 Holy damage to all enemies within a 5-meter radius after 3 seconds. 40-meter range. 2.5 minutes cooldown.
- Forge of Light – Summons a forge of light that allows for smithing. Blacksmithing skill is increased by 10.
- Demonbane – Killing demons grants 20% more experience points.
- Holy Resistance – Holy damage taken is reduced by 1%.
- Final Verdict – When you die, you are avenged by the Light, dealing 1,162 damage to enemies within 8 meters and healing allies for 1,383.
Racial abilities of the Void Elves
- Chill of Night – Arcane and Shadow damage taken is reduced by 1%.
- Entropic Embrace – Your abilities have a chance to empower you with the essence of the Void. (Exact effect unknown, probably just a visual effect)
- Ethereal Connection – The costs for Transmogrification and the Void Storage are reduced by 50%.
- Prenatural Calm – Cast spells are not delayed by damage taken.
- Spatial Rift – Opens a rift in space and time. Activate again to travel through the rift.
Racial abilities of the Highmountain Tauren
- Rugged Tenacity – Damage taken is reduced by 330.
- Pride of Ironhorn – The mining skill is increased by 15 and you can mine ores faster.
- Mountaineer – Your versatility is increased by 1%.
- Bull Rush – You charge forward for 1 second and knock down affected enemies for 1.5 seconds. 2 minutes cooldown.
- Waste Not, Want Not – You have a chance to loot additional meat and fish.
Racial abilities of the Nightborne
- Ancient History – Your Inscription skill is increased by 15.
- Arcane Affinity – Magic damage dealt is increased by 1%.
- Cantrips – Summons a creepy spellbook that grants you access to a mailbox for 1.5 minutes.
- Dispel Illusion – Use your arcane sight to reveal illusions and detect invisibility within 15 meters.
- Magical Resistance – Magic damage taken is reduced by 1%.
- Masquerade – Cloaks you in an illusion, causing you to take on the appearance of another Nightborne.
The abilities for Zandalari Trolls and Dark Iron Dwarves are not yet known.
Please remember that these are just the early versions of the racial abilities. These things can still change before the release of Battle for Azeroth.
