The next patch for WoW is nearly finished. Finally, there is a release candidate!
Players of World of Warcraft have been eagerly anticipating the next patch for quite some time. Patch 7.3.5 has been on the PTR for several weeks and includes some adjustments and improvements that fans have been wishing for a long time.
Since this morning (01/13/2018), a new version of Patch 7.3.5 is now available on the PTR, carrying the addition “Release Candidate” in the name. This means that the patch is basically done and only emergency changes will be made.
Thus, the soonest possible release date for Patch 7.3.5 is looking more likely to be Wednesday, 01/17/2018.
The fact that only a few details have changed in the “Release Candidate” version compared to the last version of Patch 7.3.5 also supports a timely release.
What does Patch 7.3.5 contain in terms of new content and improvements?
Although Patch 7.3.5 contains little “new” content, there are a few improvements and adjustments to already existing game content. Here are some things you can look forward to in Patch 7.3.5:
- World scaling. All zones adjust to the character’s level, within certain limits, providing a better leveling experience.
- Timewalking: Ulduar (active only during the Timewalking “Wrath of the Lich King”)
- Reworked Silithus with new quests at level 110
- Purchasable legendary items (for Awakening Essences)
Additionally, the patch already contains some things that presumably will not be available directly at launch, such as:
- The prerequisite quests for the allied races: Void Elves, Nightborne, Highmountain Tauren, and Lightforged Draenei
- The final quest for Artifact weapons
- The new battleground Seething Shore
Are you already excited for Patch 7.3.5? What will you do when the update goes live?
