Torghast in World of Warcraft is demanding for many. A perfect run can be done in under 4 minutes. One player demonstrates it.
Torghast has divided the World of Warcraft community. Some love visiting the tower, while other players cannot get used to it and call Torghast “Choreghast,” because in their eyes, it has become a chore. However, one doesn’t need to stay long in the tower. A Demon Hunter demonstrates how one can finish in 3 minutes and 58 seconds.
This is the achievement of a WoW player: A Demon Hunter shows in his video how to almost perfectly speedrun Torghast. He completes a full Torghast run in less than 4 minutes – and that on the highest difficulty, level 12. This gives him a flawless score, that is, 5 stars. With this, one can advance into the Adamant Vault and receive further rewards.
Typically, a normal Torghast run takes 15 to 25 minutes – depending on how fast one is. Finishing in under 4 minutes is quite an impressive feat, as Gitoff hardly ever stops – aside from the fight against the respective floor boss.

How is that possible? Basically, Gitoff got extremely lucky with his choice of Anima powers, which brings him high damage right from the beginning. The centerpiece is the Anima power “Grim Tinder.” This ensures that the duration of the fire aura is automatically extended as long as damage is dealt to an enemy. Together with a medium that increases the damage of the fire aura by 18% with every tick, the damage of the Demon Hunter increases drastically within a few seconds.
Later on, this build is refined further, as Gitoff can also obtain the Anima power “Immolation Flux,” which increases the damage of the fire aura by a hefty 100%.
Additionally, Demon Hunters are among the most mobile classes in World of Warcraft and can quickly cover large distances – especially as Night Fae, which possess a signature ability for a short sprint with small teleportations. Combined with a particularly favorable layout of the hallways, reaching the target and progressing to the next level is thus achieved quickly.
Why is it flawless? A flawless run in Torghast is considered one that is completed with at least 200 points. Points are awarded for various factors, such as the number of enemies killed, the percentage of that defeated with the “Empowered” buff, and the speed.
Gitoff left a large portion of the enemies standing and skipped them, achieving only 66% completion. However, there is an additional bonus of 30 points for the “Empowered” status. For the required time, he earns the maximum bonus of 50, which brings the total to 146 points.
However, Gitoff made sure to rack up a number of additional bonuses. For instance, he defeats the final boss in under 20 seconds, finishes the run with over 500 Phantasma in his account, and takes no damage from traps. All these (and more) bonuses ultimately cumulate to a total of an impressive 236 points – so he is well above the necessary 200.
Have you also completed flawless runs in Torghast at level 12? Or is that still a bit out of reach for your character?
