The professional guild Serenity from World of Warcraft is disbanding. The reason for this is a competitor – Method.
For months, there have been reports in World of Warcraft about the great guild decline. More and more top raid guilds have thrown in the towel in recent months and years and felt unable to motivate their members enough. Now the next guild has been affected. As the management of Serenity announced, they will no longer participate in raids as Serenity.
The cause of this is the departure of several guild members who have turned away from Serenity and instead switched to the competitor Method.
Serenity was never able to achieve its goals
Interestingly, Serenity was originally founded by Method members who were not satisfied with the group. Therefore, it has a certain irony that Serenity is now disbanding because some players prefer to be with Method.
Serenity was never really able to reach its very high aspirations, which has led some of the switchers to return to the “safe harbor” of racing for the first kills.
Kuznam from Serenity expresses his gratitude in a farewell post to the more than 50 players who have actively played with Serenity since its inception. He himself will hang up World of Warcraft and not return in the near future. However, he has many beautiful and fun memories from this time that he will cherish.
Other guilds are largely keeping quiet on this topic. Only at Exorsus do they humorously remark that it is not necessary to speak fluent Russian to join the guild – a clear invitation to some of the players from Serenity who currently have no raid.
