The requirements for the best loot in World of Warcraft increase with Patch 9.1. We reveal how to get the best loot in the future.
In World of Warcraft, there are many ways to get good equipment. One of them is the “Mythic+” dungeons, the hardest that WoW has to offer for 5 players. But in order to grab the best loot in Patch 9.1 Chains of Domination, you will have to face a slightly tougher challenge in the future. The highest item level is only available if you can also handle the difficulty of “+15”.
What has changed? In Patch 9.1, you must now complete a dungeon with the difficulty of “+15” in order to receive the best possible reward from the weekly cache. Only then can you ensure that you receive a really good reward corresponding to the maximum possible item level on the following Wednesday.
In return, there is the best reward that can be directly obtained from dungeons, but already at “Mythic+14”. So the requirement is slightly lowered here.

How was it before? Currently, it is still the case that completing a “Mythic+14” dungeon is sufficient to pull the maximum item level of 226 from the chest in the coming week. The limit seemed a bit strange since normally “+15” has always been the threshold needed for achievements. With Patch 9.1, this is finally consistent and easier to understand.
