Patch 7.2.5 for WoW brings the Black Temple up to date. Moreover, there is finally a sort of “dance studio”, albeit as an event – it only took 10 years.
Although update 7.2 of World of Warcraft has only been active on the live servers for a few weeks, the developers at Blizzard are already working hard on future content. The first details of patch 7.2.5 have now been introduced in the official forum.
Patch 7.2.5 is again a “small” patch that contains hardly any new content – such as new zones or raids – but does bring many improvements and small things that make everyday life in Azeroth more pleasant.
The biggest highlight is likely to be the Black Temple. This raid was originally designed for level 70 players and had Illidan Stormrage as the final boss. With patch 7.2.5, the Black Temple will receive a Timewalking version! The exact difficulty level and whether players can join through the Group Finder is still unknown. For nostalgia’s sake, here’s the trailer from long-forgotten times:
However, there are a few fresh content updates. An “epic questline” centered around Chromie is being implemented in the game. Chromie is a bronze dragon that usually appears in the form of a female gnome and interacts with players. When Chromie is involved in an issue, it’s certain that some timeline has gone awry or a strange paradox has emerged.
Micro-holidays bring the “dance studio” – at least in the auction house
The concept of micro-holidays is being further developed, and the events are getting even more absurd than before.
- In the Trial of Style, multiple players enter a scenario and must adjust their outfits at the hairdresser to match a specific theme. Afterwards, all players can vote for the best set.
- Not much is known about the Auction House Dance Party. Presumably, all heroes within the auction houses will be celebrating – here’s to the next million through speculation.
- The Moonkin Festival is likely to be druidic in nature, but there is still no concrete information.
Furthermore, additional items have been found in the game data that might make it into the patch but have not yet been confirmed.
There is said to be a new questline with King Magni, who asks players for help in the Sholazar Basin – an important location for the creation of the Titans. This could already be the first hint at a potential addon after Legion. Many players suspect that something terrible is happening with Azeroth while the heroes in patch 7.3 are fighting on Argus.
Oh, and Pet Battle Dungeons for Gnomeregan and the Deadmines are also in the game data – that should please all pet collectors.
