In Ardenweald, the quest “He who does not play, cannot win” awaits you in WoW: Shadowlands. To solve it, you should use emotes. We show you how to do that in the guide.
What kind of quest is this? In the north of Ardenweald, you will find an NPC named Playful Trickster. And he lives up to his name. Because in the quest “He who does not play, cannot win” (English: The games we play), you must be prepared for tricks.
These emotes are the solution for the quest
What do you have to do? While the Playful Trickster talks to you, you need to pay close attention to what he says. And then respond quickly.
Keep a close eye on the text boxes and then respond with the correct emote. Often, he already mentions the right actions in the text, like “dance with me,” where you should perform the dance emote.
How do you perform emotes? If you are still new to World of Warcraft and have never used them, you can learn here. Open the chat with Enter, type “/praise,” and confirm again with Enter. You type that without the quotes. When you confirm, your character will perform the emote. It doesn’t matter in the German client whether you type “Tanzen” in German or “dance” in English. The emotes will execute in both languages. However, the English client does not recognize German emotes.
