A warrior in World of Warcraft has free choice of weapons. He has collected all one-handed swords that exist in Azeroth – that’s over 500.
In World of Warcraft, there are many impressive achievements that players can reach. But DesMephisto regularly reaches new heights here. Now he has collected all one-handed weapons and thus created one of the prettiest transmog collections ever.
Who is that? The name DesMephisto may be familiar to some WoW players. He is also known as the “warrior fanatic” because he has leveled a warrior for every single race in World of Warcraft – both male and female. He was also in the headlines a few weeks ago when he collected all plate armor transmogs. An impressive achievement that is hard to replicate.
What has DesMephisto done now? After a long time of farming, DesMephisto has finally managed to complete his collection of one-handed swords. He now owns all 530 models of one-handed swords that exist in World of Warcraft. With Shadowlands, the number of swords will rise again – but until then, he is “finished” with this category for now.
Great joy over the last sword: The last sword took quite a while to obtain. It was the Scirocco’s curved saber – a weapon that can only be earned through archaeology in Uldum. How great the joy over the last find is, you can see in this short clip:
The search, by the way, did not go quite so euphorically. Although DesMephisto should actually be happy about an additional mount, his reaction was quite different when he dug up the scepter of Azj’Aqir – also a very rare drop, but not the desired sword:
Will DesMephisto ever reach the player who has 99.4% of everything that he can collect in World of Warcraft?
