Anyone currently active playing World of Warcraft should complete at least one dungeon on “Mythic+” this week. This is important for the new patch.
Next week, the new Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance for World of Warcraft will be released. In the first major content update of Battle for Azeroth, there are numerous changes that are direct responses to many player complaints. Many players find it too cumbersome and random to obtain Azerite items with exactly the properties they want.
Patch 8.1 addresses this by introducing a new currency, Titan Residuum.
What does Titan Residuum bring? With the new currency, players can purchase Azerite armor tailored to their preferences from a vendor. If they wish, they can buy a “random” item for less Residuum, but if they want a specific item, they have to pay more Residuum. This way, all players can get exactly the Azerite items they need.
Where can you get Titan Residuum? The new currency is available when you dismantle Azerite items at the scrapper in Boralus or Dazar’Alor. A larger amount is available every week in the “Mythic+” chest. The harder the dungeon you completed, the more Residuum you will receive!
Residuum included next week: For this reason, players should definitely complete a “Mythic+” dungeon by Wednesday, as the Residuum will already be included in next week’s reward chest! So, anyone who does not complete a “Mythic+” dungeon this week will miss out on a huge chunk of the new currency.
Higher dungeons are also worthwhile: The special feature of the Residuum in the weekly chest is that dungeons higher than +10 are also worthwhile. The amount of Residuum contained in the chest increases further when completing higher levels, such as +15 or +20. Perhaps you will break the current record of Mythic+22?
Will you follow the advice and complete a high “Mythic+” dungeon? Or will you miss out on the Titan Residuum?
