How much can you really collect in World of Warcraft? This Paladin knows it, as he has almost everything there is in the game – and that is a huge amount.
In World of Warcraft, there are some collecting enthusiasts. Some focus on mounts, others on battle pets, and still others on transmog items or toys. After all, Azeroth is full of various objects that can be collected. Yet one of these collectors has outdone them all, as hardly anyone has as many items in the game as Haru. His collection comprises an impressive 99.44% of all items that a Paladin can use.
What does Haru collect? This is easily described – namely everything. At least everything he can carry or use with his Paladin. So, all plate items, toys, mounts, pets, and achievements. However, things that he cannot “collect” properly are not taken into account – such as cloth gear, weapons that a Paladin cannot use, or mounts that are only suitable for certain classes.
What does this mean in clear numbers? For those who prefer direct numbers, these data can give a rough idea of what he has collected. At the time of the interview with Icy Veins on September 8, Haru owned:
- 544 out of 546 possible toys
- 473 out of 501 possible mounts
- 1170 out of 1177 possible battle pets
- 12550 out of 12616 possible loot items from dungeons and raids
Accordingly, his wardrobe is also quite full, as Haru’s collection for transmogification is also packed. In some categories, he owns even everything there is – such as bracers, gloves, pants, shoes, and enchantments.
299 Followers in the Garrison – Collected over 5 Years
What is he particularly proud of? Of a collection that only a few players even know about or track – followers in the Garrison from Warlords of Draenor. He has collected all 299 followers that are possible. That is quite enduring, since only one new follower can be recruited through the tavern each week.
And before you ask: Yes, he has also leveled every single follower and equipped them with the best possible gear.
What addon does Haru use? Haru uses, like many other collectors, the interface addon “ALL THE THINGS”. It lists all collectible categories clearly and shows all objects from World of Warcraft that can still be collected. It usually also provides the locations or displays hints when an item, although it exists in the game’s data, is not actually obtainable. We have already presented ALL THE THINGS in the past, as Cortyn also swears by it.
By the way, Haru needs to hurry, as the new expansion Shadowlands will be released soon. Then the collection is likely to grow again – as there are many new items.
What do you think of this collection? A cool, impressive achievement? Or a gigantic waste of time? What percentage does your collection reach?
