With the big Patch 8.0, you can customize your characters in World of Warcraft more extensively. We reveal what new features are coming your way.
The Pre-Patch 8.0 is almost here, which means the era of Battle for Azeroth in World of Warcraft is about to begin. In addition to the removal of artifact weapons, there are also some new features. Several races will have access to new customization options. We will inform you about the new customizations you can benefit from at the barber (“hairstylist”).
Orcs – Upright Walking
With Patch 8.0, barbers for orcs have a special treatment available, as they apparently now offer a spinal realignment option. Those who wish can give their male orc a straight back under the new “Posture” menu item. This will make the orc slightly taller and stand much straighter in battle. The miracle of evolution!
Blood Elves – Golden Eyes
The race of blood elves is getting some new faces. Instead of the known, fel-corrupted eyes, the blood elves now have golden eyes. These new options reflect the development in the storyline of the blood elves. After purging the Sunwell, they are no longer reliant on fel magic and are once again filled with the Light’s magic. This is reflected in the new eye color. However, the change is optional – no one is forced to do so.
However, male blood elves are being forced. Their faces will be slightly revised to show less “duck face”. The era of kissing faces is over!
Change Skin Color – All Races
If you gave your human a pale skin tone, but often vacation at the beaches of Tanaris, you might want to show that with a darker complexion. Good news: This will soon be possible! With Patch 8.0, barbers for all races will have the option to change their skin color. This also applies to races that do not have skin but may have fur.
No exact date for the pre-patch has been announced yet, but it won’t be long now. Possible dates are July 18 or July 25.
