At the start of each expansion of World of Warcraft, there are some bugs and errors. We reveal what might be going wrong at the moment.
The launch of Battle for Azeroth, the seventh expansion of World of Warcraft, went mostly smoothly. Nonetheless, there are a number of errors, bugs, and other issues that have crept into the finished game and are currently robbing the heroes of Azeroth of their enjoyment. We will tell you which errors can currently occur in Battle for Azeroth.
List of known errors of Battle for Azeroth
Please consider that in the following errors, only a part of the players seems to be affected.
- Players cannot unlock the Allied Races (Void Elves, Lightforged Draenei, Nightborne, and Highmountain Tauren).
- Some players at level 120 cannot continue their War Campaign.
- In some quests, phasing does not work correctly, making it impossible to complete the mission.
- Some players have not received their Heart of Azeroth after completing the quest (it is usually automatically equipped). In this case, a ticket for manual help is the only solution until Blizzard has fixed the issue.
- Some players cannot select a zone at the mission table in Boralus. Disabling all addons may help, but a restart of the game has helped some as well.
All mentioned errors are already known to Blizzard, and the developers are working on solutions that will be implemented over the coming days via hotfixes.
No errors, but changes
Many players are also complaining about some “errors” that are not actually errors but rather simple changes:
- The character boost no longer grants a “Veteran bonus,” meaning no increase in primary professions. This has become unnecessary since professions are now divided into new categories.
- There is no fullscreen mode anymore. Only windowed mode or fullscreen (window) remains.
Are you affected by any of the errors? Or are you currently navigating Kul Tiras and Zandalar completely bug-free?
