In the trading post of World of Warcraft, some really fat loot is waiting. A mount that no one should miss – because the alternative takes months.
The trading post in World of Warcraft is a quite popular feature and brings new rewards every month. Now September has started, and with it, there are new goods and tasks to fill your travel journal and collect new trader currencies.
However, the true highlight of this month is not the class sets or the cool weapons, but a pretty fancy mount that rewards the completion of the travel journal.
What kind of mount is this? The mount “Crusty Creeper” is a riding crab with a large treasure chest on which you seat yourself. Unlike other mounts, you ride the crab sideways – mainly because a crab moves sideways.
If you want a mount with the same model, you would have to farm several months in the old area “Vash’jir” from Battle for Azeroth. Because the original orange crab is only available for the meta achievement of Vash’jir – and for that, you have to complete not only extremely many quests but also level up companions daily and hope that some particularly rare world quests are active.
Those who do not check here every day can easily miss their chance and will have to wait weeks again to really complete everything.
How do you get the mount? To obtain the crab, you need to collect a total of 1,000 points in the travel journal. You earn points by completing various tasks, which you can look up in the journal. There are significantly more tasks than necessary, so every player finds ample opportunities to gather the points in a timely manner.
As usual, you have until the end of the month, that is, until September 30th, to unlock the final reward.
What else is there? Aside from the crab, there are also several items to buy at the trading post. Especially the first three class sets, namely for Priest, Paladin, and Rogue, are worth a look. However, if you want to buy a set along with the corresponding weapons, you need to pay 950 trader currencies – that’s almost the entire amount you can earn in a month.
