In World of Warcraft, experience points are now raining down. If possible, you should urgently get many characters to level 60.
Leveling characters is an activity that divides players in World of Warcraft into two camps. For some, leveling is the best part and the reason to play. Others find leveling completely annoying and hope it ends as quickly as possible so they can enjoy the “real” content in the endgame.
For the latter group, a strong buff is currently active. Right now, there are plenty of experience points in World of Warcraft.
What kind of buff is this? Currently, all characters between level 10 and level 59 receive a strong XP boost. The buff “Wind of Wisdom” grants a hefty experience bonus of 50% on all gained experience. This applies to experience from quests as well as completing PvP battlegrounds, dungeons, or exploring. Thus, characters can be leveled to max level in nearly 33% less time.
The buff is also combinable with other XP buffs. You can, for instance, still gain the bonus from the Darkmoon Faire.
How long is it active? The exact duration of the buff is not yet known. However, it is clear that the buff will not be active until the launch of Dragonflight. Because with the release of the Dreadlords during the pre-patch 10.0, the buff will be deactivated again. You can therefore likely benefit from the buff for another 3-5 weeks before it disappears.
Why should you do this? With Dragonflight, the classes are undergoing quite extensive revisions. This is mainly due to the new talent system with “classic” talent trees. The selection is so large that you can create several different playstyles even within a specialization. It may very well be that you suddenly take a liking to a class whose playstyle you previously did not like with Dragonflight. Therefore, it is worthwhile to have all classes ready for selection in advance.
So, if you want to prepare heroes for Dragonflight, you should now head to Azeroth (and the Shadowlands) to be fully ready for the Dragon Isles with the maximum number of heroes by the end of November.
