On the new island in World of Warcraft, role players receive a lot of cool stuff. A little RP dream comes true.
The Siren Island in Patch 11.0.7 of World of Warcraft is likely to entertain most players for only a few hours. Every few days, you get an upgrade, complete a handful of quests – done. However, there are plenty of new unlocks on the island that will be particularly beneficial for RP fans.
What items are involved? Even though there is relatively little pure content on the Siren Island – there are significantly more unlocks. While transmog of all kinds already makes the hearts of RP fans (and also all other transmog enthusiasts) beat faster, there are also various toys that have interesting and unique effects.
The quartermasters offer various crates that go straight into the toy collection. The crates have almost no cooldown and provide several options when used – you can hold a book in your hand, study a map, simply carry the crate, or sit on it.
Why is this so helpful? Roleplaying in World of Warcraft is quite multifaceted, and pretty much everyone in the RP community longs for more opportunities to modify their character or the environment. For this reason, for example, the tents from Dragonflight are extremely popular (and make some people rich), while engineers with the weather machine have ensured that many RP events have a nicer atmosphere.
If toys and items now allow characters to adopt new positions for longer periods – and especially without dreadful cooldowns – it is a clear enrichment for roleplay.
It’s worth taking a longer look at the different vendors – especially as an RP fan. Besides the transmog and the toys, there are also some holy crystals that allow you to channel a beam of light for a long time. Wonderful for anyone who also wants to cast a healing spell in RP that doesn’t just dissipate while typing the next chat message.
