The final launch patch for World of Warcraft The War Within will be released in a few days. Then everything will be ready for the big release.
Even though the pre-patch for World of Warcraft The War Within has been active for 2 weeks and the pre-event “Radiant Echoes” has been running for over a week, the developers are still not finished. Before the next expansion of WoW officially starts, there will be another patch that significantly adjusts the balance of all classes and their abilities.
In addition to some changes to the talents, there are also drastic adjustments to various abilities – with buffs and nerfs of up to 40%.
What kind of patch is this? Patch 11.0.2 is the “launch patch” for World of Warcraft The War Within. Since the pre-patch 11.0 launched, Blizzard has made a lot of changes to the beta of The War Within. Not only have the dungeons been revamped, but many classes are also receiving numerous adjustments and modified talents. The reason for this is that the beta of The War Within is still ongoing, providing new insights every week that must be incorporated into the live version of the game before the launch.
What changes are being made? The changes are too extensive to discuss all in detail. Among the most important updates is that the guild bank can now be used correctly for cross-realm guilds and deserters in PvP can no longer participate in PvP matches with their entire account until the debuff wears off – previously, this only applied to individual characters.
In addition, there are over 200 changes to the classes that bring significant buffs and nerfs.

Why is the patch coming so early? With the release of the launch patch, Blizzard has about 8 days left until the start of the “early access”. This is enough time to fix urgent bugs and issues, ensuring that the early access launches smoothly on August 23 and that all classes are in a solid state.
It can be expected that Blizzard will push some hotfixes between August 14 and August 23 to address pressing issues and ensure that on Friday, August 23, all pre-orders of the Epic Edition can start in the early access of The War Within.
