Alliance players are simply better in PvP of WoW. This is not due to their skill, but rather an unfair advantage that can make them nearly invincible.
As old as World of Warcraft itself is the question of which of the two factions actually wears the pants and is the stronger one. The Horde or the Alliance? The latest video from Paladin Rextroy has now found a clear answer: It is the Alliance. However, it is not the superior players to blame, but a small toad that leads to absurdly high healing.
What is it about? Rextroy has once again found a new way to troll in PvP. Instead of defeating enemies with one-hits, he relies this time on massive self-healing that heals him for several hundred thousand health points every few seconds. In his latest video, he shows how he can withstand multiple Horde players who simply cannot kill him. On average, he achieves 60,000 healing per second, which is quite impressive for a Retribution Paladin.
Why does this work? The reason for this is the damage scaling that is active in many parts of World of Warcraft. High-level characters deal massive damage to creatures that are far below their level. This is fundamentally active in all open world areas, except for Kul Tiras, Zandalar, and the associated areas of Battle for Azeroth.
This scaling ensures that opponents at level 1 can be hit for several million damage points. With a high leech value, this means that the player’s own character is healed massively.
For instance: With a critical hit of 1,000,000 damage and a leech of 30%, that results in a substantial 300,000 health points as healing.
– Defeated players in the arena with one-hit
– Killed 20 players simultaneously with the Warlock
– Completely naked killed people
How does this work exactly? The star of this method is the item “Gently Pressed Toad.” Only members of the Alliance can purchase it from the Old Loola in Shadowmoon Valley of Draenor. The item creates a small level-1 toad that can then be attacked.
Using a macro, Rextroy ensures that a toad appears exactly in his position and then is destroyed by him with a powerful critical hit in the next moment. Something that all classes can do, although it is easier with AoE abilities.
The prerequisite for this is, of course, gear with the corresponding amount of leech. Collecting an entire set of this can probably take a long time, but currently it is still possible with the Corruption. The stronger the leech, the higher the healing from the toad.
Because only the Alliance can buy this toad, only the Alliance has access to this massive self-healing in the open world. However, it is probably only a matter of time before Blizzard nerfs the toads.
With Patch 9.0, this will be more difficult because Corruption is removed and therefore possible leech is reduced. But Patch 9.0 seems to be delayed.
Horde players are now welcome to object…
