WoW: That is why you should definitely upgrade your legendary cloak today

The legendary cloak in World of Warcraft can finally be upgraded to level 12 today, on February 26. We will explain why this is a particularly important step here.

With the start of a new WoW week in Battle for Azeroth, a new quest is also available from the black prince Wrathion. You should complete this promptly, as the reward will likely drastically increase your character’s strength and lead to new, massive damage spikes for all DPS classes. Healers and tanks will also benefit significantly from the new buff.

What is it about? At Wrathion in the Heart Chamber, you can upgrade your cloak every week. Those who have been diligent up to now should currently have “Ashjra’kamas, Shroud of Resolve” at level 11 and can accept the quest for level 12 starting today.

As before, the quest requires you to dive into the Horrific Visions and retrieve a book from them. This time, you will need to complete one of the “lost” areas. These are the hardest bonus zones of the Horrific Visions.

If you succeed in the task, a quest item will wait for you in the loot box, and you can upgrade your cloak to level 12, granting it a new passive effect.

What does the new effect do? The new effect is extremely powerful.

At rank 12, it ensures that your primary stat (Strength, Intellect, or Agility) increases by 3,386 points for 15 seconds. Depending on your class and gear, this results in an increase of nearly 30% of your primary stat – a massive increase in damage or healing for your class.

The effect is triggered on average 1.25 times per minute, giving you the buff for about 18-19 seconds per minute. This should provide a significant boost in the race for first place on the damage meter.

Access to the Horrific Visions is now even easier. Blizzard has increased the number of Manifested Visions received by 30%.
