In World of Warcraft the signs are pointing to war. Sylvanas Windrunner sounds the attack against the Alliance …
Those who bought the Goodie Bag available at BlizzCon 2017 will be rewarded with plenty of small items that make the nerd’s heart beat faster. However, one object has particularly piqued interest – a small excerpt from the upcoming book by Christie Golden “Before the Storm”.
The novel will continue the story of Warcraft and connect the expansion “Legion” with the next expansion, which will be presented at BlizzCon tonight.
A first look into “Before the Storm” leaves little room for speculation about where the journey for Warchief Sylvanas Windrunner is headed. During a “walk” through the city of Orgrimmar, she talks to Nathanos Blightcaller and tries to win the heart of the Horde.
Sylvanas Windrunner sounds the attack on Stormwind
Especially the last lines provide insight into what Sylvanas is plotting. Free translation:
“Nathanos was silent. She [Sylvanas] did not interpret this as a sign of rejection. He was often silent. His not asking for more details meant he understood precisely what she wanted.
Stormwind.”

Sylvanas’ plan seems clear, a large-scale attack on the heart of the Alliance. Whether she can put her plans into action will likely be revealed in the book “Before the Storm”, but possibly even at BlizzCon.
In any case, the signs indicate that the next addon for World of Warcraft will be much more focused on “war” than Legion or Warlords of Draenor. It seems that the Alliance and Horde will finally be embroiled in real conflicts again.
As soon as there is new information from BlizzCon, we will of course report on it. Keep your eyes open on our website tonight!
