What do I need Sparks of Omens for? If you want to produce high-level equipment pieces with a crafting profession from the new WoW expansion The War Within, you definitely need one or more Sparks of Omens.
Similar to the previous expansion Dragonflight, you will find a field for the sparks in the reagents window, which allows you to increase the item level of the desired item. Keep in mind that you have to invest up to two sparks for an item-level upgrade.

Farming Sparks of Omens effectively – here’s how
Where can I get Sparks of Omens? To create a Spark of Omens, you need two Shattered Sparks of Omens and 250 Valor Stones each. You receive Shattered Sparks of Omens during the current phase of The War Within – that is before the start of Season 1 – through the weekly quest “The Call of the World Soul” from Faerin Lothar in Dornogal.
Along with a freshly added quest to the live servers, another spark quest was introduced, which you can obtain from Guardian Khubon in Dornogal. Through this, you can already get two Shattered Sparks of Omens
and thus a complete Spark of Omens
– promising a guaranteed equipment upgrade!
