In WoW Shadowlands PvP in the open world could be worthwhile again – at least for collectors. A title and a cool mount are up for grabs.
The war between Horde and Alliance is over. But does that mean there will be no PvP in World of Warcraft? No, it certainly does not. You can even earn a really cool title and a corresponding mount if you take down the champions of all covenants in WoW Shadowlands.
What’s available? For PvP fans, there is a new achievement in the open world. This rewards not only a cool mount but also the title “Deathbringer”. However, the achievement of the same name is a major meta-achievement that requires the completion of a whole series of smaller achievements.
You can see the mount in this video:
What do you have to do? A whole lot. First, the War Mode must be activated, as you need to take down other players. In War Mode, you must subsequently accomplish the following tasks:
- Covenant Combat: Defeat 50 enemy players from each covenant (Venthyr, Necrolords, Night Fae, Kyrians)
- The Many Trials of Zo’Sorg: Successfully complete all of Zo’Sorg’s trials 10 times while in War Mode.
- Impressing Zo’Sorg: Complete each of Zo’Sorg’s PvP world quests 20 times.
- Tour of Duty: Bastion: Earn 1,000 honor in Bastion while in War Mode.
- Tour of Duty: Maldraxxus: Earn 1,000 honor in Maldraxxus while in War Mode.
- Tour of Duty: Ardenweald: Earn 1,000 honor in Ardenweald while in War Mode.
- Tour of Duty: Revendreth: Earn 1,000 honor in Revendreth while in War Mode.
It’s still not quite clear how long the tasks for Zo’Sorg will take, but it will likely take up a substantial amount of time.
Once everything is completed, you will receive both the title Deathbringer and the mount “Deathbringer’s Flayedwing” for your collection. However, you won’t be able to fly immediately – as you must unlock flying during Shadowlands.
Will you play Shadowlands in War Mode? Or are you more of an advocate of the “peaceful” mode?
