In World of Warcraft the PvP vendor has suddenly disappeared in the Shadowlands expansion. He was just there, now he is gone. But there is a possible explanation for his disappearance.
What happened to the PvP vendor? In the new WoW expansion Shadowlands, there is actually a vendor who sells valuable items in exchange for honor and other PvP achievements as usual. The PvP vendor makes it possible to obtain powerful gear, which is why PvP fans can earn good stuff here.
However, anyone who wanted to visit the vendor shortly after the launch of Shadowlands searched for him in vain. The guy was simply no longer where he was supposed to be just a short time ago. What happened? Did the PvP vendor perhaps fall victim to the Zombie Plague or was it a glitch?
Blizzard intentionally removes the PvP vendor, but he will return
This is what the developers say: In a message from the developers at Blizzard, a statement regarding the disappearance of the PvP vendor has now been issued. The guy was probably intentionally removed from the game:
To resolve an issue with the new PvP vendor of the Shadowlands, we need to temporarily remove him from the game
The vendor will return with the next realm restart.
When will the vendors return? The exact date for the realm restart is not clear, but it should happen by Wednesday, November 25, at the latest in the morning hours along with the restart and the return of the vendor.
Why did the vendor have to go away? Blizzard has not officially commented on this. But a player named Remohe wrote on the site Wowhead in the comments under the embedded Blizzard statement that the honor and conquests from the previous addon Battle for Azeroth were apparently not properly reset.
Therefore, players were able to obtain the powerful level 226 conduits and PvP gear at level 200 from the start of Shadowlands. This would certainly not align with the developers’ intentions, which is why a temporary removal of the PvP vendor here would be a sensible hotfix.
