What is this about? The latest expansion of WoW is now online for a few days and players have been exploring the Shadowlands since then. Although this MMORPG is over 16 years old, it is still played by many people. But what about newcomers?
Whether it is still worth starting fresh in WoW or returning after many years off is what we discuss in our latest podcast episode. We also discuss:

Who is involved? The podcast is hosted by Leya Jankowski from the MeinMMO editorial team, who also takes on the role of a WoW beginner. Joining her are MeinMMO’s WoW specialist Benedict Grothaus and our colleague Marylin Marx, the community manager of GameStar.
Benedict has been playing WoW for 15 years and brings the perspective of a hardcore raider. Mary is GameStar’s WoW specialist and speaks from the viewpoint of a single-player fan. Leya is completely new to World of Warcraft after 16 years.
