Blizzard has unveiled the Collector’s Edition for World of Warcraft Shadowlands . We reveal what all is included in the big package.
Yesterday, World of Warcraft held a livestream where they talked about some content from Shadowlands. However, right at the beginning, the physical Collector’s Edition of Shadowlands was also introduced. We explain what is included in the Collector’s Edition and for whom it is worth it.
Here is everything included in the Collector’s Edition: As usual, the box not only looks good but also matches well with the other CE boxes of World of Warcraft, and offers a nice amount of physical contents. This includes:
- A large art book with many concept drawings for Shadowlands
- 4 pins featuring the insignia of the various covenants
- Shadowlands mousepad featuring the “shattered sky” motif over Icecrown
- Official soundtrack for the expansion
In addition, the box naturally contains the Shadowlands expansion in the Epic Edition. This comes with all the digital goodies included. We have already introduced the different contents of the Epic Edition here.
How much does the Collector’s Edition cost? The CE of Shadowlands is available for €120, for example at Amazon. As usual, the quantity is likely to be significantly limited, so interested parties should get such a version sooner rather than later.

What happens if you have already purchased the digital version? As with previous expansions, there is a form of reimbursement. If you have already purchased and activated a digital version of Shadowlands on your account and later activate the Collector’s Edition (on the same account), you will receive the original purchase price of the digital version as Battle.net credit. You can then spend this on other games, game time, or shop items.
Who is the Collector’s Edition worth it for? The Collector’s Version is – as the name suggests – more for people who want to place the box on their shelf. If you’re only interested in the digital contents, you may as well choose one of the digital game versions and save some money. However, if you’re into physical goodies like an art book or the pins, it’s worth spending the extra euros and getting a Collector’s Edition while you still can.
