What kind of pet is this? The pet named “Wanderer Xiao Liu” is a bluish panda that walks upright and can now be purchased in the Chinese version of World of Warcraft for ¥120 – which is approximately €15. Besides its colorful appearance, the little panda has some magical abilities that help the buyer in a way that no other pet in World of Warcraft can.
What portals does the pet offer? The pet not only looks very Asian but also offers some quite special services. Because when you talk to the companion, he can teleport the character to all entrances of dungeons and raids from the “Mists of Pandaria” expansion. This essentially gives you a private teleport to Pandaria if you want to farm old content.
This is of course not particularly useful for current content, and when the corresponding dungeons come into the “Mythic+” rotation, there is always a direct portal from the current capital city to there.
Nevertheless, Xiao Liu is a shop pet that has unique features that no other pet in the game offers.
Will it come to us? It is common for the Chinese version of World of Warcraft to offer things that do not reach us. However, data miners from wowhead have already found an encrypted file in the game data of our version of WoW named “shop-card-full-panda-teleport.” This suggests that the pet could also come to us in the foreseeable future.
However, this is not yet confirmed.
What is the community’s concern? The concern of many fans is clear. What started with the Golden Trader Brutosaurus is now being exploited further with ever new pets and mounts. More and more useful conveniences have gradually become available in the shop – especially since they sell extremely well.
