A new offer in the World of Warcraft shop is dividing opinions. Some celebrate the mega package, while others are quite disappointed.
Every few weeks, there are new ways to spend money in the World of Warcraft shop. The most expensive offer so far was a mount from the auction house that was only available for a few weeks. But there are always new additions. Last night, the offer for the “Ascended Raiment Pack” went live.
What’s included in the package? The sets visually strongly resemble Shadowlands, specifically the Kyrian faction – both the Ascended and their corrupted variant. Accordingly, the sets remind of the spirit healers in World of Warcraft and are likely to appeal to anyone with a penchant for bright blue and purple.
What makes the offer so special? The package for 30 euros is one of the largest transmog packages ever offered in the shop. It includes not only 4 complete sets (essentially 2 sets with 2 color variants each) but also 22 different weapon models, including a shield and an off-hand option. The total number of items amounts to over 100.
However, one should keep in mind that not all transmogs can be used by all classes. For example, if you want to use the two-handed sword from the package, your character must also be capable of wielding two-handed swords.
This is how the community reacts: As usual with new shop offers in World of Warcraft, the community is divided. On one hand, there is praise for how much is included in this package and how many new options for transmogs arise from the new weapons and set items, even if one does not wear the whole set. At the same time, it is criticized that these sets can primarily be obtained through real money, and there is no way to get them in-game through gameplay (other than buying WoW Tokens with gold).
