Azeroth’s heroes strike back. In Patch 7.2, World of Warcraft takes us back to the Broken Shore.
With the next major patch of World of Warcraft, the tide of battle slowly changes. After the heroes of Azeroth spent most of their time on the defensive, repelling the demon threat mostly on the Broken Isles with varying degrees of success, they are now going on the offensive.
Archmage Khadgar calls all heroes to him to carry the battle to the landing point of the Legion – the Broken Shore. As at the beginning of the expansion, they attempt once again to reach the portal to finally halt the Legion’s advance. After previously failing, as they didn’t have an artifact weapon at that time, they are now going all in and storming back to the place of beginnings. Side by side with well-known heroes like Maiev Shadowsong, Prophet Velen, and even Illidan Stormrage, players break through the strong defenses of the shore.
On wowhead, they have already spent a lot of time on the test server and have played through the entire scenario to introduce the new content. Those who want to see what’s coming our way this summer should take a look at the video.
Following the scenario, a new quest hub and a new faction are unlocked: Legionfall. However, to ultimately reach the Tomb of Sargeras – and therefore the raid instance – players must first gather resources to further develop the camp. Only when enough strength is available does the march continue towards the former Temple of Elune.
In Patch 7.2, artifact weapons can also be raised to new levels – they will receive new abilities.
