In WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria, the loading screen can take longer than the actual dungeon. A monk shows how it’s done.
In WoW: Remix, everything is a bit faster. Although this “bit” can occasionally be a bit more extreme. Where dungeons used to take about half an hour, it’s now usually limited to a few minutes. However, this is different for a remix player who can complete dungeons in mere fractions of a minute.
His impressively frightening new record: Less than 22 seconds until the final boss falls.
What kind of dungeon run is this? It’s about the dungeon “Temple of the Jade Serpent,” the first dungeon in Mists of Pandaria. This dungeon can basically be visited right from the start and is therefore accessible to characters with a trial account.
Conzil F2P has uploaded a video on his YouTube channel that shows the entire dungeon run in an absurd 21.41 seconds. With that, he has clearly beaten his former record of just under 50 seconds.
It’s so fast that in a normal group, some might still be stuck on the loading screen trying to enter the instance while the dungeon is already considered completed.
How is this possible? Completing the Temple of the Jade Serpent in this record time requires a lot of preparation and several factors coming together:
- Monks are an extremely mobile class and move very quickly, covering large distances in minimal time.
- Monks can defeat the first boss instantly with “Touch of Death” and completely skip the lengthy boss fight.
- The meta gem “Chi-Ji, the Red Crane” provides additional speed through rapid movement abilities.
- The gear gem “Heroic Leap” allows for a small exploit that lets you jump through a wall and skip the second-to-last boss.
The most important factor, however, is that the monk is still level 20. He is using a trial account and therefore does not gain any experience points after level 20. However, as he continues to collect “threads” for the artifact cloak, his character is still getting stronger. Thus, he already has extremely high stats at level 20, which no opponent has ever matched. By the way, he also collects a lot of bronze in the process.
For Conzil F2P, this was the last attempt at the Temple of the Jade Serpent. Now he wants to focus on other dungeons and see if he can break some records there as well.
