Bronjahm the Soul Patron
Deep in the Icecrown Citadel in the Soul Forge, there is a boss who places special value on musical entertainment. We are talking about Bronjahm, the Soul Patron. In English, he bears the title “Godfather of Soul” and is a reference to the American musician James Brown, who is commonly known as the Godfather of Soul.
The items he drops are almost all allusions to his songs. Because James Brown is not as well known in Germany, they decided during localization to give the items names that refer to German songs and artists instead. So Bronjahm has, for example, the following loot in our version:
- Little Green Bud (Comedian Harmonists – “Mein kleiner grüner Kaktus”)
- Completely Detached Handles (Peter Schilling – Major Tom (völlig losgelöst))
- Leg Plates of the King of Maj Orc’ah (Jürgen Drews – King of Mallorca)
- Wildecker Heart Robes (Wildecker Herzbuben)
- Hardcore Armguards (Torfrock – Beinhart)
