The Dragon Isles in WoW: Dragonflight are full of secrets. A player has discovered a secret island near the coast of the Azure Mountains, which is only visible on certain days. There you will find plenty of crabs, and there is even a secret boss.
What has happened? It has been some time since players first set out towards the Dragon Isles. By now, the heroes of the Alliance and the Horde have helped the aspects reclaim their old home, and the mightiest among them have defeated Raszageth.
So, it’s the perfect time to see what other secrets the Dragon Isles have to offer. Some players have now discovered a small island far from the landmass of the Dragon Isles that is only visible in good weather.
While in previous expansions such remote places could only be reached with great effort or a trick, in Dragonflight it’s easy: thanks to dragon riding!
What can you find on the island? The small island with the English name “Lev’al Rock Isle” is little more than a collection of barren rocks in the vast ocean. At first glance, there is not much to discover, except for the crabs.
The island does not exactly seem inviting, as it is littered with dragon bones and appears otherwise quite inhospitable. Upon closer inspection, you will find the remains of other adventurers, as well as the last meals of the island’s inhabitants.
Speaking of island inhabitants: The crabs have received a unique model from Blizzard. Similar to hermit crabs in the real world, the residents of “Lev’al Rock Isle” have made themselves comfortable in the bones of the deceased dragons.

Little secrets and hidden places bring the world to life
Is the island part of an achievement? No, at least at this time there is no connection between the newly discovered island and an achievement from Dragonflight. The community has also found no clues that the island and its inhabitants are part of a larger secret.
While the island’s inhabitants have a clear leader in the crab “Crustoteo”, even this “boss” hardly drops any notable items. Besides “gray” items, which only the vendors appreciate, he can at least also drop items of “green” quality.
Nevertheless, the community is happy about the discovery. Little secrets and easter eggs like this are what make the vast MMORPG world come alive.
It is also not ruled out that Blizzard will use the island and its inhabitants for something bigger in the future.
Where can you find the island? Do you want to explore the island yourself? No problem! Head to the Azure Mountains. At coordinates 24.4, 70.8, you will find a settlement of the Tuskarr.
Launch yourself into the air with your dragon here and fly further southwest. After a short time, you should be able to spot “Lev’al Rock Isle” on the horizon.
