The WoW player DesMephisto is known for bringing a large number of characters in the MMORPG to level 120. Now it is already 46 – and all have the same class. Moreover, he drew attention to the organization Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN) with a new Twitch streaming record.
What has DesMephisto achieved? In April 2019, MeinMMO reported that the player has brought 29 characters in the MMORPG World of Warcraft to the current maximum level of 120.
In August, there were already 41. In the meantime, this number has risen to 46. These are only characters that have the Warrior class.
He always plays one male and one female character of the same race as Warriors and levels them to level 120. So he has:
- Orc Warrior Level 120
- Orc Warrior Female Level 120
- Night Elf Warrior Level 120
- Night Elf Warrior Female Level 120
- Tauren Warrior Level 120
- Tauren Warrior Female Level 120 and so on…
Thanks to the current XP buff he even needs only about 13 hours to bring a Warrior to the maximum level. On Imgur, DesMephisto created a gallery with all his 46 Warriors.
Why does the player do this? Allegedly, it has a meditative effect on him and is calming, as can be read on reddit. Moreover, the Warrior is simply his favorite class and one of the few classes in WoW that can be played by every race. They are also quite popular: In our list of the most popular classes, the Warrior ranks at number 4.
Streaming for a Good Cause
What else did the player achieve? But that’s not the only thing he accomplished. On April 24, he broke the previous record in WoW live streaming on Twitch, which stood at 32 hours and 36 minutes.
DesMephisto managed to stream for around 36 hours. That is a new record.
Why did he do this? DesMephisto did not just want to break the previous record; with his livestream, he wanted to raise awareness for autism. He is himself autistic, as he says, and therefore collected donations for the organization Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN) during the stream.

Who is DesMephisto, anyway? The player is quite well known in the WoW community, known as “the crazy one who loves to play Warriors”.
