The classes in World of Warcraft are changing again. We have all the adjustments that will go live soon.
The next patch of World of Warcraft Dragonflight is just around the corner. The “Seed of Renewal” update brings not only some fresh content, such as the epilogue of the Dragonflight story or an interesting archaeology substitute, but also a few changes to the existing classes. In many cases, these are only small adjustments that you should keep an eye on to avoid any problems.
What is changing? The biggest changes affect the former “Covenant abilities” from Shadowlands, which have now become an integral part of many talent trees. Not only do these abilities get a new look visually, but their damage type can also change in some cases.
This is particularly important for the Demon Hunter, as “The Hunt” will no longer deal Nature damage but will instead deal Chaos damage. This ensures that the ability interacts better with some talents, but also makes certain trinkets that were triggered by dealing Nature damage useless.
Can you regain the old look of the abilities? No, not yet. However, Blizzard has already announced that they are working on a way to restore the original look of these abilities. This will likely happen through the glyph system in an upcoming patch.
