The wait is over. The release of Patch 9.1 Chains of Domination for World of Warcraft is just a few days away.
Players of World of Warcraft Shadowlands have been waiting for many months for a release date of the first major content patch. It was announced over 3 months ago, but since then progress has been slow. Now the wait is finally over – and the release date has been revealed.
When will Patch 9.1 be released? Patch 9.1 Chains of Domination will be released on June 30, 2021, which is exactly two weeks from now. In America, due to time differences and various maintenance schedules, the new content will already be available starting from June 29.
What’s included in Patch 9.1 Chains of Domination? A lot. The highlights of the upcoming update include:
- The Sanctum of Domination – A new raid with a total of 10 fresh bosses, including Sylvanas as the final boss.
- Tazavesh, the Veiled Market – A new mega-dungeon with a special hard mode.
- Korthia, a new sub-zone in the Maw with new story and daily quests.
- 40 new glory levels for the covenants with many rewards.
- Flying in the Shadowlands will be possible.
As usual, the raid will be released a while later, after players have had the opportunity to experience the new story and get acquainted with the new content.
