The next patch of World of Warcraft will soon be deployed on the PTR. We will tell you what is in the next update of WoW.
The Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance has only been active in World of Warcraft for a few weeks, but Blizzard is already hard at work on the next update. It will be tested over the coming weeks.
This is in Patch 8.1.5: As usual, the x.x.5 patches are rather small patches that bring only a little new content and mainly implement a lot of “little things” into the game or make improvements to existing systems. This is largely also the case with 8.1.5. Confirmed content includes:
- Kul Tirans as a new allied race are playable
- Zandalari trolls as a new allied race are playable
- Naga invasions with the associated world quests
- New portal rooms in the capitals of both factions (Stormwind and Orgrimmar)
- A new chapter of “Leash on Raid”
- Visual upgrades for Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin
Many contents will come staggered to the PTR: Some contents will only be unlocked in the coming weeks on the PTR when new versions of the PTR are active. These include:
- New quests of the war campaign
- New quests for Magni, Hati (former hunter pet) and all eight crafting professions
- Timewalking “Warlords of Draenor”
- New Brawl mode “Arathi against NPCs”
- Wintergrasp as a new epic battleground
- The latest update for the Brawler’s Guild
- A new roller coaster at the Darkmoon Faire
- New micro-holidays and updates for Children’s Week
Not all contents are for the patch: Aside from the features mentioned above, Blizzard warns, however, that not all contents of the patch should be considered fixed. It is guaranteed that there will be some data on features, such as the return of Ashran as an epic battleground, that will be released in a later patch.
Are you already looking forward to the small patch 8.1.5? Which feature excites you the most? Or are you just eagerly looking at the next major patch, 8.2 Rise of Azshara, which finally integrates the Naga more?
