A new patch is being tested on the PTR of World of Warcraft. We will tell you what will happen to the wound in Silithus!
Apparently, the developers of World of Warcraft have just been waiting for the first players to finally clear the Antorus, the Burning Throne raid. Because just one day after the opening of the last raid of Legion, the test realm was reactivated. Currently, an early version of Patch 7.3.5 can be tried on the PTR.
The main focus is currently on scaling the old world. With Patch 7.3.5, all old areas will scale with the player’s level – similar to how the zones on the Broken Isles do.
Besides that, there are also some changes to the game world. Silithus is undergoing another change in Patch 7.3.5. After the area was destroyed by the end of Antorus and polluted with a reddish hue, the healing of this wound begins in the upcoming patch. The red is slowly giving way to a yellow, and the first clumps of Azerite are beginning to crystallize.
It seems there are also some quests where both factions (each with the help of Khadgar) have to collect resources to advance the healing of the world. It is possible that this will ultimately result in the questline where we will retire our artifact weapon.
Also new is the establishment of the embassies in Stormwind and Orgrimmar. In both buildings are the leaders of the Horde and Alliance. This will be the starting point for recruiting the Allied races once they become available in Battle for Azeroth.
Blizzard also warns that starting now, early game data for Battle for Azeroth may appear in the files, and these will not be a feature of 7.3.5. So, one should not rely too much on the data miners.
A release date for Patch 7.3.5 has not yet been announced.
Have you already seen the new elevator boss in World of Warcraft? He kills players in dozens!
