The release of the new WoW patch 7.2 is approaching. The current version on the PTR server is already referred to as a release candidate.
It probably won’t be long until the new World of Warcraft patch 7.2 is available on the live servers. An update on the test servers (PTR) already marks the version there as a release candidate.
WoW Patch 7.2 – When will it go live?
Versions labeled “Release Candidate” on the test servers are one step before going live – the final stage between testing and release.
The pre-download of patch 7.2 began just a few days ago and gives you the opportunity to start as soon as the update is released. Unfortunately, an official release date for patch 7.2 is not yet known.
In the community, there is speculation that it could be available by the end of March, with users on the WoW Reddit predicting March 28 (which would be March 29 in Germany). However, we can only be sure once the developers provide further information.
In the new game version 7.2 “The Tomb of Sargeras”, there is a new zone Broken Shore. There you will soon find the new raid, which is the namesake of this patch version. Additionally, the update brings you new levels for your artifact weapons, new world quests, and class-specific mounts. The official preview for patch 7.2 can be found here
